This is just as much about you as it is about me.

As a body: a proclamation that the “natural” is long distorted by the time we can define it.

We are forced into molds, deformed.

Disproportionate, unrealistic, inhumane?

Go!

Where?

Enjoy!

Your Reflection (run)

Yours.

You stand and walk.

You turn.

bright sun

Are mirrors silver?

Begin, and again,

time to run.

You turn,

now in the mirror.

Escape.

Find a mile.

Run.

Listen.

Run.

Breath.

Remember.

your reflection,

your body.

your reflection.

My Reflection (run)

Mine.

I stand and walk.

I turn.

my body

my reflection,

my body.

my reflection.

I FIND MYSELF

in the middle

these limitless spectrums

occasionally falling

painfully , falling

held down

I can’t breath

don’t look at me

don’t you see me?

GO!

I get up!

I got up!

and occasionally

without much doubt

I catch myself

I find myself

happy to be in the middle

these limitless spectrums

WHO ASSIGNED MY GENDER?

they branded me.

an infant

that bothers you?

it pains me.

it cages me.

it comforts you?
what’s wrong with you?

it’s me?

i don’t trust you.

i’m laughing at you.

i beg of you,

look at you.

this is about YOU.

i laugh at you.

it’s not true.

a protocol?

i laugh at you.

they lied to you.
